Question

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes! Our RSVP page will give us accurate numbers so we can plan each event specifically. You will be prompted to enter your details, then please advise if you wish to add/remove anyone to your family RSVP (children for example). We also ask you to consider the additional events (welcome dinner, pool party, etc) and also RSVP to them as soon as possible for accurate catering.

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We kindly ask everyone to RSVP as soon as possible as we will need final numbers before we can organise the shuttle bus. The earlier we can lock this in, the more options we will have to get everyone to and from the venue safely. The absolute final date to RSVP is 31 December 2026, but we kindly ask you to please let us know either way sooner if you can.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Yes! We love your little ones and they are more than welcome to come and celebrate with us. We kindly ask you to indicate on your RSVP whether your little ones will be attending (some guests have mentioned grandparents/family may be staying close by to look after them for the day) to ensure we have accurate numbers.

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will absolutely be missed, however we completely understand - it's a big ask for you to come all this way to join us. Please simply indicate 'DECLINE' on your RSVP.

Question

Where is the wedding located?

Answer

All wedding events are hosted at Nikis Resort, Località Pieve d'Agnano, 06024 Gubbio PG, Italy - https://www.nikisresort.com/en/ (Full details to be found on the Schedule page). Nikis is nestled in the hills of Umbria between the towns of Umbertide and Gubbio and is a charming historic-estate turned luxury retreat, offering a tranquil and scenic setting for our 3-day celebration.

Question

What is the best way to get there?

Answer

We highly recommend flying into Rome and renting a car for the duration of your stay in Umbria. There are many beautiful towns to visit in the region. Free parking is available on site and at the recommended agriturismos mentioned on the travel page.

Question

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

BOTH! Weather pending, the ceremony will be held outdoors overlooking the Umbrian hills with the reception dinner also outside under the stars! The reception party will be located inside the Church, so that we can continue dancing into the early hours. There will also be undercover areas as well as space outside to mingle.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Hot. Italian summer is breathtaking, but very hot. Remember to bring your SPF and a fan, and be sure to make the most of the drinks bar!

Question

Can I stay at Nikis Resort?

Answer

There is limited availability at Nikis Resort to accommodate all our guests, and we have had to prioritise our immediate family and bridal party. Should more rooms become available, we will reach out to guests directly to offer the opportunity to stay on site. Fortunately, there are plenty of great accommodation options surrounding Nikis that are equally as gorgeous and within easy reach. We will also be organising a shuttle bus to and from the wedding, for those who will be enjoying a few drinks with us.

Question

What are the accommodation options in the area?

Answer

If not staying onsite at Nikis, there are a number of agriturismos surrounding Nikis resort. Please see the Travel tab for a full list of recommendations and links to book.

There is full hotel service for anything else you may want to eat or drink while at the resort.

Question

What are your travel plans?

Answer

We are still finalising our plans at present, however, we will likely stay in Umbria for a week prior to the wedding. Following the wedding, we will be heading to Lake Trasemino, Val D'Orcia in Southern Tuscany and then on to Puglia. Our friends and family are more than welcome to join us for any portion of this adventure!
