Pigeon Forge
Pigeon Forge is a mountain town and vacation area in East Tennessee! It’s the home of Dollywood, Dolly Parton’s theme park. With so much to do.. you will never get bored. Roller coasters in the hills, museums, some of the yummiest restaurants around, and shopping outlets.
Gatlinburg
Gatlinburg is just a little up the way from Pigeon Forge! It is known as a gateway to the roughly 520,000 -acre Great Smoky Mountains National Park! Many of it’s key attractions offer sweeping views of the neighboring park, including the 407-ft. Space Needle observation tower and Sky Lift, a 2.1-mile aerial cable car that journeys from Downtown to the popular amusement park and ski resort Ober Gatlinburg.
Ijams Nature Center
Ijams Nature Center is a 315-acre member- and visitor-supported nonprofit organization, where people of all ages can hike, bike, paddle, climb, learn, explore, or simply enjoy nature in Knoxville, TN. The grounds and trails are open every day from 8:00am until dusk. The Visitor Center, including exhibits, gift shop, offices, and restrooms are open during regular business hours. Admission to the park is free!
