We met at Peet's coffee and tea on market street in the Castro. We talked about Star Trek and coffee, one day after work Knick asked me to get a drink with him. The rest is history.

On the second day of our family backpacking trip Taryn went kayaking on the lake. When she came back Knick had set up the tripod and camera to take a picture together in front of the crystal clear water. Knick got down on one knee and Taryn said yes.
