We first met in high school, initially as just friends. We went our separate ways in college and reconnected while we were both home for winter break freshman year. We kept in touch second semester and fell in love that summer. After doing long distance for almost 3 years and seeing no end in sight, we decided to go our separate ways. I left for Europe and Justin finished up college after Covid. We checked in with each other from time to time, always reconnecting when I was home. Once I permanently moved to Houston, we started hanging out and fell in love all over again.
