Bald Mountain

SKI/SNOWBOARD!!! Jack and I have had tons of great memories with many of you over the years skiing Baldy. This mountain is on the Ikon pass this year, located right in town.

Snowshoe

Many great trails around Sun Valley Resort and Galena (20 min outside of town.)

Hot Springs

Natural hot springs about 30 minutes down Warm Springs Roads. 4-drive required!

Sun Valley Gun Club

Hiking

Depending on snow conditions hiking is beautiful in SV and a great way to get outside.

Food

**Reservations are particularly tough to get in the winter. We recommend planning ahead when it comes to dinner. The Pioneer and Rickshaw don’t take reservations, but expect to wait an hour or two. -Grumpys: grab a cheeseburger and schooner after skiing (or just for fun!) -Java: Taryn’s personal favorite cafe in town! -Rickshaw: definitely a fan favorite. Yummy Asian food. -Pioneer Saloon: for the full Sun Valley experience. Classic steakhouse which has been around since the 1940s. -Enoteca: delicious, cozy Italian -Scout Wine& Cheese: cute wine bar/restaurant. -KB’s Ketchum: fast-casual mexican food -The Vintage: upscale fine dining experience
