Roadside Interests

--Driving South from Colorado Springs-- Roswell Colorado (I25 Exit 145): On your left. Our neighborhood was originally the coal town of Roswell, settled in 1889 and annexed in 1909, the same year our home was built. Voted America's Best Public Restroom of 2020 (I25 exit 143) Found at Bancroft Park in Old Colorado City Engagement Rock Climb (I25 Exit 140): To your right you can see the foothills of Pikes Peak. Near the Bear Canyon, a Dakota sandstone hogback can be found. We climbed a route on this rock and proposed to each other with cool rocks.

Colorado Model Railroad Museum

680 10th Street, Greeley, CO 80631

This isn't close to the venue at all, but this model train museum is where we actually started dating. We met online twice, our second date was 3 months after the first one and we owe it all to miniature trains for getting us together again. We found all the miniature dinosaurs, almost kissed inside of a train car and Christof bought Taryn a train patch to put on her hat.

State Fair

Pueblo, CO

The Colorado State Fair is the weekend of our Wedding! It could be a great adventure to stop by on the way out of town in Pueblo. A note: This could impact traffic that weekend.

Tarantula Migration

A bunch of spiders will be on the move!

For all the days along the way
