Although we are camping in the evening, we request that guests wear semi-formal attire for the ceremony and reception. We don't recommend wearing sharp heeled shoes as you will be walking on dirt and grass. Feel free to bring clothes for late night hangs around the fire.
If you're interested in camping but don't have any camp things, please let us know. We have some equipment we can loan out, but please don't wait until the last minute to ask. REI also rents camp gear.
Brush Canyon has restrooms and showers, however it is asked that all showers are kept to 5 minutes or less.
We are trying to have as sustainable of a wedding as possible. Please bring your own water bottle. If you are camping, please bring anything you need for that. We encourage bringing camp chairs. If you are planning to shower at the venue, please bring a towel.
If you are camping with us, we would appreciate if you help with clean up in the morning. We will provide a light breakfast and coffee but please bring anything specific you would like. Please plan to leave the site no later than 11am.
We would like a technology free ceremony. Please keep your phones in your pockets during the ceremony portion of the night. After that, go for it. We will also be happy to share photos from our hired professional once we receive them.
You are welcome to bring your kids. However, if you choose to camp, please be aware that we do not have a planned time for "quiet hour". So that everyone can hear the ceremony well, we'd like your help by aiding little ones away from the meadow if crying/play gets too loud. The property is large and full of fun places to explore, but please be aware that there is a lot of dirt and a stream near the main venue area.
Not really. Please be prepared for little to no service.
Unfortunately, the owners of the ranch do not allow dogs on the property as it is a working ranch.
