Due to COVID-19 we decided to postpone the celebration of our marriage to September 30th, 2021. We had a small ceremony on October 2nd, 2020. Now that the vaccine rollout is underway, we are so excited to be able to celebrate with you in person! Please check out the rest of this website for all the party details and to RSVP! Please RSVP by September 1st. In light of the emergence of the Delta variant and current CDC recommendations, we have made the decision that our wedding celebration will only be for those who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If you are not fully vaccinated before September 16th, we ask that you not attend. This is a decision that we have made as a couple in order to maximize the safety and enjoyment of all of our guests. Chris and Madeline met in 2011, at Colorado School of Mines while on a geology field trip. After a semester as friends and classmates, they started dating. After graduating with their bachelor's, Madeline moved around the state and the country for various jobs while Chris worked on his master’s degree and started his own career, but they stayed together through it all. In June of 2017, Madeline came home for good and they moved in together. In January of 2019, Chris and Madeline took a mini-vacation to Moab. While on a hike to delicate arch in Arches National Park, Chris proposed. Just over 9 years after they first met, they officially tied the knot on October 2nd, 2020. Due to the global pandemic, they were forced to keep the wedding very small. Now, as the vaccine rollout is underway they are optimistic about the future and excited to finally celebrate this milestone with you in person!
