The deadline to submit your RSVP will be by Friday February 28, 2025. If you do not submit your RSVP by that date we will assume that you are regretfully declining the invitation.
We’ll miss you! If you can’t make it, it is preferred that you please send us your regrets through your RSVP. However, you can also feel free to send us a message to let us know you're thinking of us.
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm. Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to ensure you are seated on time. This will also give you time to get settled and enjoy the pre-ceremony activities.
The wedding reception will end at 10:00pm with a sparkler send off for the couple.
Yes, we’ve compiled a list of nearby hotels with special rates for our guests on the "Travel" page. Be sure to book early as rooms fill up quickly! Please note that our preferred hotels have a free round trip shuttle from the airport to the hotel and a free round trip shuttle from the hotel to the wedding.
Yes, there is free parking available at The Crystal Ballroom Charlotte. We also suggest using our free shuttles from our preferred hotel to the venue. You can also use rides share apps (Uber/Lyft) if you prefer not to drive. Please note that other venues on the wedding agenda will likely require paid parking due to the location in downtown Charlotte.
As long as weather permits, the wedding ceremony will take place outdoors. The average temperature in April in Charlotte is about 65-70 degrees, so please dress comfortably.
The venue is handicap accessible for guests with limitations including handicap parking. If additional assistance is needed at any time, please see one of the wedding coordinators during the event.
The health of all guests is a priority to us. Therefore, if you are feeling unwell, experiencing any symptoms of illness, or have been exposed to a contagious disease, please stay home and take care of yourself. We want everyone to enjoy our special day safely! We will have hand sanitizer stations for your convenience and masks are welcome during the event.
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can enjoy a night out!
Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t allow for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless it is specified on the invitation. Thank you so much for your understanding!
The dress code is formal attire with black tie preferred. For men, a tuxedo isn't required, but it can still be worn, if preferred. If men do opt for a suit, it's best to wear a formal dark suit, white shirt, and a conservative tie. Please note for men a suit jacket is required for this event. For women, the formal attire outfit is a floor-length gown or a dressy pantsuit.
The colors of our wedding are champagne, gold, ivory, and plum. We prefer immediate family to wear champagne (i.e. mother of the bride, sister of the groom, etc), but it is not mandatory.
We will be serving a variety of hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a plated dinner with a dual entree including chicken and salmon. There is a vegan/vegetarian meal option available when you submit your RSVP. We will also be providing an open bar with specialty cocktails for our guests.
There will be a variety of options for those with food restrictions, including a vegan/vegetarian meal option, but please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions when you submit your RSVP.
Yes! There will be a selection of specialty drinks, wines, and liquor provided at the wedding. Cash tips are not expected, but is considered a nice gesture.
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony to ensure that our professional photographer gets the best shots. Feel free to take photos during the reception!
We’ll be sharing wedding photos on our social media and will send a message through our website after the event. Check back in the days following the wedding to relive the moments with us!
Yes! Please use the hashtag #becomingphillips when posting your photos on social media so we can all enjoy the memories.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, we kindly ask that gifts be purchased online via our registry to save space at the venue. The registry can be accessed on the "Registry" page of our website. We will also have a card box at our reception for your convenience. We appreciate your generosity!
