Austin and Tara moved to Oregon in 2018. Ever since then, their favorite place to visit on the coast has been Short Sand Beach. During Memorial Day weekend of 2024, Austin planned a trip to Short Sand Beach where he and Tara hiked the Cape Falcon trail, a beautiful trail that was previously unknown to them despite their numerous trips to Short Sand Beach. While taking in the breathtaking view at the top, Austin popped the question. No surprises here… Tara said yes!
