Father of the Bride
My dad and I don’t have a typical father daughter relationship. He is my best friend and I am his. We tell each-other everything, no secrets. I don’t know where I would be without him. I love you dad.
Father of the Groom
My father; I always looked up to him, he always cared for me and my brothers, gave us valuable life lessons, and knew how to keep a conversation going. A comedian when the mood is light, and a stern voice for the more serious conversations. He’s done so much for us- my family- and I will always wish him the best.
Mother of the Groom
My mother always knew just what to do, that fact is backed up by her six kids. She’s always been there when I was feeling sad, lonely, anxious, or scared. She comforted me when I needed it, and scolded me when I was in the wrong, and lectures- a lot of lectures. But some lectures have shaped me into the man I am today. Thank you, Mom, for those lectures. I love you.
Best Woman
I met Aly in the 1st grade. She instantly became my best friend, and we managed to remain close even though we were never in the same class again until high school. I am the luckiest woman alive to have met her, and to be able to call her my nonbiological sister.
Best Man
For as long as I can remember my friendship with Silas, he has always been the leader of the band of brothers we called “The Party”. A forever DM I always looked up to, and a good friend for the serious questions, the stupid questions, and sheer shenanigans.
Maid of Honor
Alanna and I met randomly one day in the 7th grade. She ran right up to me and insisted that we be friends. I didn’t expect her to stick around, but I am so grateful that she did, and now she is one of my favorite people on this earth.
Groomsman
Cristian Campuzano, I still can’t pronounce his last name for the life me. But nevertheless he has and will always be a good, dear friend. If fact, he was the first friend I made coming to high school. He got me back into Dungeons and Dragons, non-solo games, and, albeit still introverted, making friends.
Bridesmaid
Rhi is my older cousin, and the only other woman out of all 9 of us. Because of this, we have always been great friends. I am so grateful to have had another girl in the family growing up. We girls gotta stick together, right?
Groomsman
The one I connected with most in The Party was Benjamin. He and I had a very odd synergy- at some points we be on opposite sides of a discussion, and others we were all or nothing. A good friend, a great conversationalist, and a chaotic force to make the night fun.
Ring Bearer
Atti and Joe are twin brothers, with the sweetest souls known to man. Except when it comes to teasing me, their older sister. Then they’re quite rude. But they are my ride or die’s, and the best little brothers a girl could ask for.
Flower Girl
Ever since we were engaged, Tara always wanted Little Mackenzie to be the flower girl, which makes sense. Her cute little smile can brighten anyone’s day, and apparently she looks super cute in a dress pelting flowers at people. The vote was unanimous.
