We would like our guests to dress business casual. The ceremony will likely be outside and it is summer in Texas, so we want our guests to be comfortable. Our only request is if you are not in the wedding parties, no green and no white please!
We request that you silence your phones for the ceremony, but there will be a QR code for the app POV we would like everyone to scan so you can all take photos during the reception. This way we get to see everyone’s point of view of the reception afterwards!
2:30 pm - 6:00 pm
The reception will take place in the barn. There are 2 bathrooms inside, and the bridal and groom suits are upstairs. Guests are not allowed upstairs per the venue’s request. There are tables and chairs inside as well as plenty of room for dancing. There will be brisket, as well as some snack foods and side options, and cake. We’ll have water, sweet and unsweetened tea, and lemonade to drink there. There will be a pause in the music for speeches, and we’ll invite anyone who wants to give a speech to do so then. After the speeches, we’ll cut the cake and carry on dancing and having a good time. We will also have some outdoor games for anyone who would rather use those, or if any kids get bored. Leave at any time you like, but please say goodbye first. We can’t wait to see everyone there!
5:30 pm
We will have a basket filled with little bags of bird seeds near the barn doors. Those wishing to participate in the send off can grab one and line up on either side outside of the barn. The bride and groom will walk down the middle as everyone tosses the seed above them. Afterwards, feel free to stick around and enjoy the rest of the reception. Guests must leave by 6 p.m.
