We're Getting Married!

We met through an old acquaintance and started messaging on Instagram. Once we were through stalking each other's socials, we naturally started talking about what any normal person would talk about: Gary Tao being a Demi-God. This of course led to our bonding over Mythology and Christina ranting about Marvel's inaccurate portrayal of Thor and Loki. Christina instantly felt a connection to Gary, but it took Gary's mind some time to catch up to his heart haha. On 12.8.2019, we became official and have enjoyed every moment of our time together.

Our relationship started as a 6-hour drive to each another with Gary traveling to SoCal and Christina to NorCal. We would text, Facetime, or e-mail each other constantly. Gary shared his love of EDM with Christina, and she instantly fell in love with the music. Gary sang a Seven Lions song to Christina at our first concert together, and that song ultimately became "our song". In 2020 Gary was furloughed and made the decision to move to SoCal to work as an associate in Covina. This cut our 6-hour drives down to about 15 mins. Eventually, in 2021 Christina moved in with Gary and brought along Gary's now best friend Charlie - Christina's cocker spaniel. We later took in our tuxedo cat Peter before moving from Covina to Pasadena. In November 2022, Gary fulfilled his dream of opening his own Chiropractic office, which he co-manages with Christina. There have been plenty of ups and downs with owning our own business, but ultimately we would not want it any other way. In November 2023, we welcomed our 3rd fur baby Boots into our home. This all leads us to our current life chapter- engaged life.

After waiting a whole year due to weather-related cancellations, we finally got to enjoy a beautiful hot air balloon ride in our favorite place in California...Temecula! Afterward, we grabbed some much needed breakfast and headed to our favorite winery, Robert Renzoni, where we waited for it to open so we could use our member tastings. Gary pulled out the ring box and Christina giggled "Yes" as he slipped the ring on her finger. We're very excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you! See you all in TEMECULA!
