Wedding Party

Meet a few of our favorite people who will be walking down the aisle with us.

Savannah Collins

Maid of Honor

Savannah is Kenzie's sister and best friend. Savannah is currently in her graduate program at UNC Greensboro, where she is studying to become an archivist. She loves learning about old things.

MaryAnna Bailey

Bridesmaid

MaryAnna is Tanner’s sister and an amazing singer/dancer/performer. She is a Junior at Wake Forest University and she spent Summer 2023 performing as a part of High Steppin' Country at Lakewood Camping Ground in Myrtle Beach.

Rachel Bauserman

Bridesmaid

Rachel is one of Kenzies coworkers. She is the friendliest face in any crowd and makes people feel loved through her energetic nature. She is currently working on pre-recs for nursing school.

Rachel Oliver

Bridesmaid

Rachel is a music teacher in the mountains and one of Kenzie's old college roommates. She has a heart for ministry and can play a number of instruments with the most recent being the fiddle.

Shelby Watson-Sanders

Bridesmaid

Shelby is Kenzies friend from church nursery. Definitely a life-long friend. She and her husband are working on their PHDs in chemistry at the University of Tennessee.

Colten & Braylen Brown

Jr. Groomsman & Jr. Bridesmaid

Colten and Braylen are two of the sweetest people that Tanner and Kenzie know. Having gone to church with Tanner and his family for years, Colten and Braelyn are raised by a pair of Christ-loving parents in Cody and Michelle. Colten reminds Tanner very much of himself at that age and Braylen, Kenzie, and MaryAnna get into way more trouble with one another than they should. Tanner and Kenzie are beyond excited to have Colten and Braylen be a part of their special day.

Tony Bailey

Best Man

The groom and I had the good fortune of meeting years ago in a hospital delivery room. Through the years, he and I have enjoyed everything from comic books to Ninja Turtles, drumming and computers, even Disney World and New York. I am proud beyond words of the man my son has become and thrilled to see him find a bride as wonderful as Kenzie. Maria and I look forward to the life they will build together.

Miles Collins

Groomsman

I've known Tanner for just over a year now, only meeting him when my sister started dating him. My favorite memory with Tanner is the day we met at a basketball game I was cheering at. I was tasked with putting face tattoos on anyone who wanted one. My sister introduced me to Tanner, and I was then required to touch his face the first time I met him as my sister insisted he have a tattoo.

Samuel Sutton

Groomsman

I've been best buddies with Tanner since his tour of Wake Forest University when we coincidentally met in the South Hall lounge while I was tapping away on my practice pad and discovered his mutual love and practice of percussion. My favorite memory with Tanner would have to be his horrible disdain for the Appalachian State percussion tag which has since become a literal written part of SOTOGAB’s percussion music (if you ask him about it, he’ll love to explain it all)

Jackson Myers

Groomsman

When I first met Tanner, he was the unique kid wearing a Ninja Turtle shirt in the 6th grade. At that time, I would have never thought we would be such good friends. I’ve enjoyed so many moments. Whether it’s late night gaming, discussing our difference of opinions in Marvel movies, or sharing my interest in firearms as we go target shooting; but my favorite memory was when Tanner and I went to watch Endgame in theaters. Most importantly, Tanner is a buddy I can be myself around! I hope we will continue making memories. I wish him and Kenzie the best!

Bobby Black

Groomsman

Tanner and I have been friends for a very long time. We grew up together in Wilkesboro and could always be found hanging out together in the same crowds. My favorite memory of Tanner is “co-running” a car dealership together during a film project for junior English class at Wilkes Central. The most convincing skit anyone has ever seen!

Michael Davis

Groomsman

My name is Michael Davis, and I have known Tanner for more than 20 years. We went to preschool, middle school, and high school, together, and while at Wilkes Central High School, we swam together on the illustrious men’s swimming relay team. I now live in Northern Virginia and work on Capitol Hill, but Tanner and I stay in touch through video games and occasional visits. I am so happy for him and Kenzie. My favorite memory with Tanner is getting mad at him for shooting contested mid-range jump shots during our legendary basketball games at Westwood Hills Park in Wilkesboro, N.C.

Matthew Davis

Groomsman

My name is Matthew, and I’m one of Tanner’s lifelong friends. Some of my passions include college/professional basketball and football, fantasy football, and medicine. I’m a huge fan (and alum) of the Carolina Tar Heels. Probably my favorite memory of mine with Tanner is going to a concert last May to see my favorite band perform. It was a great experience and I’m glad he was able to join me for it!
