Things To Do

Sedona

Sedona

Sedona, AZ 86336

Sedona is a bit of a drive (3 hours)... but if you're planning on taking a road trip out to AZ, it's a sight you won't want to miss. Sedona is an Arizona desert town near Flagstaff that’s surrounded by red-rock buttes, steep canyon walls and pine forests. On the town’s outskirts, numerous trailheads access Red Rock State Park, which offers bird-watching, hiking and picnicking spots.

Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon

AZ 86052

Possibly the most well known national park in the USA, The Grand Canyon. It is also far, about 4 hours away, but there is plenty to do. The Grand Canyon in Arizona is a natural formation distinguished by layered bands of red rock, revealing millions of years of geological history in cross-section. Vast in scale, the canyon averages 10 miles across and a mile deep along its 277-mile length. Much of the area is a national park, with Colorado River white-water rapids and sweeping vistas.

Casa Grande Ruins National Monument

Casa Grande Ruins National Monument

1100 West Ruins Drive, Coolidge, AZ 85128

An Ancestral Sonoran Desert People's farming community and "Great House" are preserved at Casa Grande Ruins. Whether the Casa Grande was a gathering place for the Desert People or simply a waypoint marker in an extensive system of canals and trading partners is but part of the story of the Ruins.

The Windmill Winery

The Windmill Winery

1140 West Butte Avenue, Florence, AZ 85132

Our wedding venue is also a winery! (Probably figured because of the name...)
