WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN ISLAMORADA IN NOVEMBER? Basically, perfect. Sunny, warm and dry with daily highs between 79°F to 85°F. Nights are comfortable, with lows generally between 65°F to 73°F. November is generally one of the drier months in the Florida Keys, with a lower probability of rain and hardly any humidity compared to summer. Hurricane season ends late October, so major storms are not common but also not unheard of. You can expect mostly clear, windy and comfortable days. WHICH PARTS OF THE WEDDING WILL BE OUTSIDE? The ceremony will take place on the beach where there is compacted sand. The cocktail hour will take place on the adjoining lawn, where you will have an unobstructed view of the sun setting on the horizon (which will be 5:34pm local time in Islamorada on November 15th). The reception will take place a few hundred feet back from the beach on both a pavered-patio terrace, as well as under a lantern-lit tent on the lawn. WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE WEDDING? Beach Resort Elegant Casual. Basically, a balance of chic style with tropical comfort and breathable fabrics like linen, cotton or silk, paired with footwear that is suitable for sand, lawn, patio + footloose dancing 💃🕺 Ladies: You can go with anything from a flowy maxi dress or short sundress to a more formal cocktail dress or elegant jumpsuit. For footwear, we suggest block heels, strappy sandals, wedges or flats. Gentlemen: Think chinos or linen pants + collared shirts, linen button-downs, polos or stylish short-sleeve button ups. On the more formal side, you could go with a linen suit or a jacket/blazer + tailored slacks. On the more casual side, you could go with an untucked shirt + knee-length tailored shorts. Footwear could be loafers, stylish sandals, mocassins or on-theme boat shoes.
