There is an undeniable charm about the Florida Keys as a whole, but there is an inexplicable something more about the village of Islamorada that is hard to capture and properly convey in words. ⚓ Situated directly between the famous party scene of Key West and the quiet coral coast of Key Largo, this unique “village of 6 islands” has earned a reputation for its quaint charm, understated luxury, laid-back vibes, crystal-clear waters, extra-ordinary sunsets, and nostalgic honoring of old Florida. 🌊 Islamorada is surrounded by three bodies of water: the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico, and Florida Bay. On the oceanside, you have the sun-kissed beach and turquoise waters of the Atlantic. On the bayside, you have the tranquil sound of swaying palms and unparalleled views of the famous Islamorada sunset. Legend has it the area was named by Spanish explorers who, upon seeing the purple sky at sunset and the purple bougainvillea florals, named it "isla morado" (purple island). 🎆 You will see why.

🌴 Tony and I fell in love with The Islander because from the moment we pulled onto the grounds, it felt like home. The place embodies the same relaxed oceanside oasis feel that mirrors the look and feel of our own home in Oceanside, New York. 🍹 Tiki bars with live reggae … sectional sofas surrounding fire pits … adirondack chairs on the sand … swinging chairs on the patio … poolside cabanas ... deep sea scuba diving ... morning pier fishing ... late night s'mor-ing ... 🌅 For Tony and me, this November isn’t about a wedding that will last for 5 hours. It’s about getting away for a long weekend with our favorite humans in the world, sharing moments and experiences that will last in our hearts and souls forever. ♾️ It’s about sandbars + tiki bars, steel drums + key lime crumbs. 🥳 It’s about us + all of you. 🙏 It’s a celebration of life. 🥂 It’s a celebration of love. ❤️
