My oldest sister Tameka was my first role model. I refer to her as the "source", due to her resourceful ways. My fondest memories of my sister was when she was in charge of watching all of my siblings and I during summer breaks. She fed us grilled cheese sandwiches and ramen noddles. I remember the fun we would have on our family road trips to New Jersey and Toronto. Tameka's entertainer personality always keep us laughing. As I got older, I watched her ways very closely and modeled that. She loves deep and cares for her family like no other. She continues to make me proud!
Takiyah Bryan
Maid of Honor
Takiyah is my second older sister. Growing up, we had to share everything with each other, hence why she was my very first roommate. Growing up when I had bad dreams, I would always walk over to her side of the room and wake her up to ask if she could walk me to mommy and daddy's room. She always pulled the covers over her head and tell me to walk over myself. Yep, that is basically our relationship. I always wanted to mimic Takiyah in every way. Everywhere she went, I begged her to take me with her. Usually she did. I can remember her always introducing me to her friends as her little sister. With honor to that title, I always smiled. She is the person I always look forward to hanging out with and laughing with. She is my first best friend!
Danicka Green
Maid of Honor
Danicka and I always knew we were twin cousins growing up! Being only 3 months apart in age, and the youngest in the Green family. While she lived in New Jersey and I lived in Florida we only saw each other during the Thanksgiving holiday, so we always counted down the days for our reunion. In the meantime, we talked to each other everyday on the phone. Summer of 2005, I took my first solo trip and flew to New Jersey to spend the summer with Danicka. Still to this day, we laugh to tears about that summer and how Uncle Mikey( her dad) caught us in the park hanging out with boys. I was so scared that we got in trouble, but Danicka found it funny. Our very different personalities brings such vibrancy to our forever friendship!
