Sheldon Museum of Art's landmark Philip Johnson–designed building houses the collections of the Sheldon Art Association, founded in 1888, and the University of Nebraska. Together, the collections include nearly 13,000 artworks in diverse media.
If you have time during the weekend, check out the University! It is beautiful and located in downtown Lincoln!
Tavern on the Square opened on July 19th, 2010. They are a neighborhood bar with a large outdoor courtyard surrounded by brick buildings built in the late 1800s in Historic Haymarket Square. Fun fact: Taneah worked at a restaurant down the street (Lazlo's) when she lived in Lincoln!
Sunken Gardens are open to the public year-round and popular for weddings and other events. It made National Geographic’s “300 Best Gardens to Visit in the United States and Canada” publication.

The University of Nebraska State Museum, also known as Morrill Hall, founded in 1871, is a natural history museum featuring Nebraska biodiversity, paleontology, and cultural diversity. If you like dinosaurs *Taneah* and other fun prehistoric creatures, check this museum out!
