Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal

The Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal will serve as the host for all events on the wedding calendar. For your convenience, a selection of Ocean View King and Ocean View Two Queen rooms have been blocked at a discounted rate for May 19-22, 2022. There are also a limited number of One-, Two- and Three-Bedroom Suites held under the wedding block. If you would like a room category not included in the block, the resort will extend a 10% discount off the best available rate. Discounted rates will be offered for three days before and after the wedding dates if you wish to extend your stay. When calling to make your reservation, please mention the Meek-Parnell Wedding to receive the discounted rate. Please call the toll-free number above to book your accommodations. At the time of booking, a 2-night deposit will be required.

The following amenities have been extended by the Waldorf to our guests staying at the resort. You must mention the Meek-Parnell wedding at the time of booking in order to receive most of these benefits: Complimentary afternoon amenity delivered to the room (guacamole, salsa & chips and beer). Complimentary mini-bar items including sodas, juices, water and coffee, refreshed daily. Complimentary daily breakfast at Don Manuel's. 10% discount at the Waldorf Astoria Spa for all treatments. 10% discount at the Almarte Boutique.

Alternative Options

If you would like to stay outside the WA, a number of other resorts, boutique hotels and rental options like Airbnb or Vrbo are available. Within walking distance of the WA Pedregal are the Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos and Playa Grande Resort, both excellent options and highly recommended by our local wedding planner. If you choose this route, please let us know as the WA Pedregal is accessed via a gated, private tunnel. In order to be allowed entrance for wedding festivities, we will need to add your name to the list. Please note, outside guests are not permitted to use any of the WA's pool facilities. With reservations, outside guests can use the resort's spa.

Flight

San Jose del Cabo International Airport (SJD)

The easiest (well, the only) way to reach Cabo San Lucas by air from the States is via SJD. It is located roughly 35 minutes north of the resort in San Jose del Cabo. The Waldorf will be happy to arrange round trip transportation for any guests staying with them. You can also book airport transfers with TransCabo (details below). Please note: SJD is infamous for its timeshare representatives near the airport exit. No matter how you are reaching your accommodations, ignore the representatives and head directly to the sliding glass doors that will take you outside to the transportation area. If traveling to the Waldorf Astoria using their transportation, proceed past the outdoor bar and across the road to the covered gathering area. A WA representative will be waiting for you there. If using TransCabo or another method of transportation, follow the advice given by whichever company you booked your transportation through.

Travel Note

Rental Cars

If staying at the Waldorf Astoria, there is little to no need for a rental car. The resort is located just 5 minutes from town by foot and is directly across the street from the marina. If you wish to travel out further, the concierge team will be happy to book transportation for you. If staying elsewhere, you may wish to have a rental car to get you to and from the Waldorf, depending on the distance between your accommodations and the resort. If you do decide to book a rental car, the rental car counters are in the baggage claim area, before entering customs. Please note that in Mexico, traffic violations are considered criminal offenses, unlike in the States. Most signs are in both English and Spanish within the tourist areas, but basic knowledge of Spanish is useful for venturing further out.

For private transport, the cost is much the same so please use whichever you prefer!
