FAQs

Question

What time should we be there?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to ceremony start. There will be live music during this period for your enjoyment.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal/Cocktail. However, we want you to feel comfortable. Dressy but ties are not required.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception in different locations?

Answer

YES - please see SCHEDULE tab for exact details and times.

Question

How long is the ceremony?

Answer

We’ll try and keep it around half an hour so we don’t bore you. Also, this will provide enough time to travel to Powhatan Dining Hall (about 15 minutes away).

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Parking will be available onsite at both locations and a parking attendant/usher will guide you. For the cocktail hour/reception, you are welcome to drop off guests at the main entrance to the dining hall before parking as it is a short walk.

Question

Do I have to pay for entry into Pocahontas State Park?

Answer

No! Once you arrive at the park entrance, mention Tanairi and Nicholas' wedding reception to avoid paying entrance fees.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

NO. There is plenty of parking onsite at both locations and the best options would be to carpool, rent a car, or Uber/Lyft.

Question

Is there a hotel room block?

Answer

No, we have not reserved a hotel room block. However, we have provided our main hotel recommendation under the TRAVEL tab.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you. If you run into any errors or have any questions, the RSVP page will give you the option to contact us.

Question

When are RSVPs due?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 25, 2020. You can RSVP using the form under the RSVP tab.

Question

Do we bring gifts?

Answer

We will have a table for cards and gifts, but please check out the REGISTRY tab. Our preferred gift is our honeymoon fund. ;)

Question

How much food and alcohol will be served?

Answer

Yes. Food is buffet style, alcohol is open bar. Options for vegans too!
