Tammy will always remember their childhood years together, such as hosting countless tea parties with their favorite stuffed animals to keeping each other company during family trips. With time, they have developed telepathic skills to be in tune with each other’s feelings. Winnie is always there to be a listening ear and cheer her on. Her humor always brings the best sides of Tammy out.

Kevin and Tuling first met as interns in Seattle back in 2012 when they realized that they shared an uncanny similar life path. Ethnically Chinese, early childhood in Germany, formulative years in Canada before settling in the United States, it seemed like destiny that they would become friends. While their paths have slightly diverged since, their friendship has not through constant talks about the past, present, and future.
Tracey Lin

Born 4 months earlier, Tracey is Tammy's first recollection of a friend. As her cousin, Tracey has always been part of Tammy's core childhood memories which included a fair share of sibling-like rivalries. Until one day, in their elementary school's playground, they decided to call a truce (ask Tracey for details) and they never fought again. Tracey and Tammy are now neighbors and workout accountability partners. Tracey's positive and encouraging energy gives Tammy the right confidence to work through even bad days. Even through different life stages, Tammy appreciates their bond and views Tracey as a sister for life.
Arun Nanduri

High school friend and the OG guru of discipline, Arun serves as Tuling's mentor for healthy living. Whenever Tuling has an unorthodox idea, he often signals for Arun for feedback or positive affirmation. Their shared love to grow up to be emotionally available and active senior citizens with proper posture serves as the bedrock for their friendship and conversations.
Christina Lau

Tammy met Christina in an art class during freshman year of high school. Christina's warmth and friendliness left an impression on Tammy and they have been close friends ever since. They can talk about anything, like what they're eating for dinner to what kind of local adventures they have done. Perhaps it's their shared amusement of knowing every detail for everything, but they can end up talking for hours. PS. You can always count on Christina to find the best deals. She is the best companion to go with for shopping!
Judy Mou

Judy is one of Tuling's closest friends from college and the main reason why he (and many others) were able to graduate on time. In exchange for rides to grab meals and comic relief, Judy patiently hand held Tuling through the No Man's Land of Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and foundational Computer Science. To this day, Judy continues to help Tuling where she can, whether it's career guidance or a free Google lunch.
Isamar Hodge

Tuling introduced Tammy to Isa a few years back and they immediately connected through similar humor and energy. Their hangouts (along with Tuling) started with dance rhythm games at Round1 before crossing international borders with shared trips to Japan and dancing at music festivals. They are not afraid to be authentic with each other, and make sure to notify each other when their favorite otome game has an update. Isa's hard working ethic and adventurous energy is something Tammy respects and continues to be inspired from.

Tuling met Richie during college when Richie was still a car-less underclassman who always needed to be fed. From 4am runs to Tasty Garden to waiting in line for Luscious Dumplings to open, Tuling and Richie routinely pigged out as a form of necessity and escapism. While their relationship has evolved past AYCE buffets, they continue to keep in touch for the occasional food run.
Hildy Ngo

Tammy met Hildy in high school and they bonded immediately through their shared passion in art. Her calm demeanor balances out Tammy's hyper energy at times. If there were no life obligations and responsibilities, they would probably couch potato together and binge-watch Single's Inferno and k-dramas. Even with distance and time apart, Hildy and Tammy continue to update each other through spontaneous phone calls, whether it's 1 pm or 1 am.

Tuling first met Jon as an incoming freshman while Jon served as a rising junior; as the anointed hallway leader, Jon helped mentor Tuling in navigating the chaos and weirdness of Caltech. Their friendship really solidified when they both moved to Seattle and bonded over the shared trauma of grinding for Gjallarhorn in Destiny. No matter the city, state, or country, gaming helps them bridge that gap and stay in touch.
