What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Average high is 72 degrees but I always recommend that you check out the weather report beforehand. We'll be getting married on the beach, and the reception will either be on the lawn or in Catherine's Terrace (indoor/outdoor).

Super awkward, but I am going to ask anyway. How many people are coming? Are you requiring vaccines?

Answer

Totally get it! When we originally planned our wedding we invited all the friends and family that are dear to us-- wanting to celebrate with everyone we love. As that option became a dimmer possibility we decided to dramatically reduce our guest list (we're inviting 60 people total) and have the option to celebrate outside if being inside together is not an option. Basically, no matter what, this is happening. At this time Catalina is not requiring vaccinations or negative COVID-19 test. We ask that you take precautions the days leading to October 9th and if you are feeling any symptoms (COVID-19 or the common cold) that you stay in bed with some matzo ball soup and a movie.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We kindly ask you to leave the kids at home so you can (finally!) party with us. We understand, though, this is a destination wedding and if you are travelling with your children and have any questions-- please do not hesitate to reach out!

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be on Descanso Beach and the reception will follow on the lawn or in Catherine's Terrace (stiil TBD).

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses., dressy jumpsuits, etc and the gentlemen should wear a suit or a sports coat (its Catalina-- tie is optional)
