Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal / Cocktail Inspired. The Ceremony will take place outside overlooking Lake Michigan.

Where is the parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Parking is onsite. Reception will take place at the ceremony location.

When is Cocktail Hour?

Answer

Cocktail hour will immediately follow the ceremony outside of the venue patio where you enjoy appetizers and a choice of two signature drinks. The bar will also be available.

Should we be prepared for changing weather?

Answer

Yes. As Lake Michigan is nearby, please bring a wrap, shawl or other cover-up in the event of wind.

Where will the ceremony take place?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on the lawn overlooking Lake Michigan behind the venue. You will be greeted by a staff member from the Grand Unity Event Center and directed to the ceremony location.

Where do I sit once inside?

Answer

Locate your table on the seating chart. The tables are named after cities where Chandler or Tami have lived.

When will we enter the reception space.

Answer

Following Cocktail hour, you will be invited into the venue to welcome Chandler and Tami as Husband and Wife. Please listen to the DJ for instructions once you are inside the venue.

Should I bring an extra pair of shoes?

Answer

An extra pair of shoes is not required, however, be aware that the heel of your shoe may poke a hole in the grass and may need to be wiped off.

What happens if there is bad weather?

Answer

We hope the weather will be sunny, beautiful, and provide a spectacular view of Lake Michigan; however, in the event of bad weather, the ceremony will take place inside the Grand Unity Event Center.

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

Your presence is our gift. Please do not feel an obligation to bring a gift. A nice card with your well wishes is all we need!
