Bride & Groom
Mother of the Bride
Indescribable. My mom has always told me, “I’m your mom, not your friend.” As I’ve gotten older, I see this true. She’s is not my friend, she’s my best friend. She has successfully guided me to adulthood & I give all my accomplishment to her.
Matron of Honor
As the oldest sister, she’s automatically given this motherly, nurturing gene. I remember going on dates with her when I was little & her toting me around, wherever she went. Now she’s a well established RN with 2 children. Also, upset she’s an old enough to be considered “Matron” of Honor.
Bridesmaid
There’s this stereotype about middle children & how rebellious they are. If you’re wondering if this is true for her, the answer is “yes”, though it is not true today. Today, she is pushing her way through a male dominated industry & owning it! It takes a rare strength to push past negative stereotypes, but here she is thriving! Her past rebellious behavior is now considered ambitious!
Bridesmaid
When everyone goes left, Chelsea goes right. Chelsea doesn’t know how to mold & fit into what the world thinks she should be. She always pushes the boundaries. This is what makes her special. She comes off as this woman that doesn’t know the meaning of fear (unless it’s my earring that falls out of my ear). She moved off to Seattle with her little family to better herself in her career, and I am so proud of her for that. It’s okay to not mold into what everyone else wants you to be or what they think you should be.
Bridesmaid
Nearly 4 years ago I met Katelyn at work. She was new & working in the same room I was in. She came at the perfect time in my life. I had lived in San Antonio for 2 years & I was not making friends (nor was I trying). We went from being co-workers to best friends! It’s crazy to think she has a new little baby & I’m getting married. We could not see this 4 years ago living it up around San Antonio! Now we get to watch each other’s lives blossom.
Bridesmaid
Jackie, Edgar’s little sister, always reminds me that I am already apart of her family. Sometimes I get frustrated or nervous & she’s there to tell me to suck it up & embrace my new Mexican culture! The whole family has accepted this “guera” into their lives & future.
Junior Bridesmaid
I wouldn’t be “Mammy” if it weren’t for Autumn. Seeing her grow up is the weirdest thing. Not in a negative way, but it’s a new experience. She was my first baby niece & now she’s a full-blown teenager! She will continue to grow & I will continue to give her an ear when it’s needed.
Junior Bridesmaid
Similar to Chelsea, Lilly gives 110% of herself to everything she does! Basketball, tumbling, cheerleading, animals, etc. She will try & try & try until she gets it! Her persistence is admirable. She will continue to do great things if she keeps going at this rate!
Flower Girl
If Harlee could be a color, she would be the pinkest GLITTER. This position was made specifically for little girls just like Harlee that love the girliest things!
Ring Bearer
Kingston has a special place in my heart & in Edgar’s heart. Kingston & I are practically inseparable when they’re together. They play soccer, dance, listen to Spanish music, & drool over “monster” trucks all together. When Edgar was proposing, he used Kingston as the vessel. Kingston brought the ring over to me & Edgar got down on his knee. Yet again, Kingston was able to add a special little touch to such an unforgettable moment. I can’t wait for him to have the same effect on our wedding day. ♥️
