Mehendi

12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Borgo Finocchieto
Località Bibbiano, 53022 Buonconvento SI, Italy, Siena, Italy

A Mehendi party is a pre-wedding event in the Hindu culture. The main focus of the event is the application of Mehendi, or henna, to the bride's & her female friend's and family's hands and feet. Mehendi is a paste associated with positive spirits and good luck. Indian Wedding tradition calls for a Mehendi ceremony to be held the night before the wedding as a way of wishing the bride good health and prosperity as she makes her journey on to marriage.

Sangeet

Thu, Aug 25, 2022, 7:00 pm - Fri, Aug 26, 2022, 12:00 am

Indian formal or Formal: Ladies wear your best bling/sparkle in ivories or golds or silvers! Gents wear your best suit.

The word “Sangeet" translates to "music". In an Indian wedding, this music-filled night is a celebration of the union of not only the bride & groom, but the bonding of both the families. It is at Sangeet that both the sides bring down their barriers and mingle in a joyous environment, singing & dancing the night away.
