If you plan to drink alcohol, the venue requires you to bring your ID and will ask for it upon your first order. Otherwise, bringing your wonderful self is enough!
Yes! In the event that there's another wedding the same night, our guests will be assigned one side of the parking lot. Additionally, cars can be left overnight (with advanced notice) in the event that someone is unable to safely drive back. We will also provide a shuttle to/from Patriot's Place (where our Hotel Block, Welcome Event & After-Party will be).
Yes, we plan to have transportation to and from the venue. There will be a shared schedule for a shuttle to/from Patriot's Place (where our Hotel Block, Welcome Event & After-Party will all take place). Even if you don't plan on staying at the hotel, you are welcome to park here and take a shuttle to enjoy the full night of activities. The shuttle will bring you back at the end of the night to the hotel.
If the New England weather holds up (fingers crossed!), the ceremony will be outside with the reception being indoors. The ceremony, dinner and reception will all be at the same venue with no stairs.
Dress your best and be ready to impress! Dress code for the wedding is Black Tie Optional. Please no shorts. There are no color restrictions other than white ;)
Yes, there will be a full open bar with a variety of options including soda, coffee, tea, liquor, beer, signature cocktails and mocktails/zero-proof options. It will be open once the Ceremony ends through the end of the night! The venue requires you to bring your ID if you plan to drink alcohol, so don't forget it!
Please arrive at the venue at 5:00PM. Ceremony will follow shortly thereafter.
Reception ends at 11:00PM. We will begin to head over to the After-Party spot (Bar Louie in Patriot's Place) beginning at 10:30PM. There will be shuttle options back to the hotel or Bar Louie. Bar Louie is a 0.2 mile walk from the hotel in case you want to change for the after-party.
Heck yes! We want to party with you for as long as we can keep it going. The after-party will kick-off at 10:30PM in a reserved part of Bar Louie. We can enjoy a full bar, DJ and snacks! It's in walking distance (0.2 miles) from the hotel, if you want to change. Our shuttle will make stops at the hotel and Bar Louie.
Of course! That being said, we have made quite the investment in photography and videography so the ceremony will be cell phone free. Your presence is a present! For the remainder of the evening, we hope you take many pictures and share them with us through our WediBox Picture Collector - look for the QR code at the event.
Yes! We will host a Rehearsal Dinner for those in the Wedding Party on Thursday night, a Welcome Event for any guests at The Harp in Patriot's Place on Friday night and an After-Party for all guests at Bar Louie in Patriot's Place on Saturday night after the reception. You can learn more (times, addresses, details) in the "Schedule" section (and don't forget to "RSVP" in the tab above)!

Yes! Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are accessible with a wheelchair.
Yes! We have a hotel block at the Renaissance Boston Patriot Place Hotel. Some guests have told us it's easier to call to book. You must book by June 14th to join our block. Hotel Block Name: Emerson / Johnson Wedding Block. You may be able to get an even better rate if you include AAA, AARP or other memberships.
Unfortunately, our target headcount means we're unable to accommodate plus ones unless they were noted in your invitation. We appreciate your understanding.
Yes! The venue is able to accommodate folks with dietary restrictions or allergies. Please ensure that you indicate any special needs when putting in your RSVP.
