FAQs

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is summer casual attire. It’s a summer wedding in the south, and we want everyone to be as comfortable as possible while having a good time

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the wedding and reception will be outdoors, but will be at two separate locations that are about 5 to 10 minutes apart. Details will be on invitations.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Our wedding venue is very small with not a lot of parking. We will post signs to help everyone find a spot to park. Parking is free

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

To fit the theme of our southern summer wedding, we will be serving smoked chicken, smoked pulled pork, coleslaw, potato salad, and Texas Toast. There will also be Greek salad. We are also offering salmon to those who do not want the smoked meat option, but the salmon dishes are limited so please let us know in advanced if that is what you would like

Question

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

Yes! Please do! All of our decorations were either purchased locally or made by hand using locally sourced materials as a way to give back to our community. They were made with love and care and is a great way to remember the evening

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, but please do not take pictures during our ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to take those pictures and we don’t want to have cellphones, tablets, etc. in the wedding photos. You are more than welcome to take pictures freely at the reception, we just ask that we you hold off on posting pictures until we do. We want to be in the moment and enjoy our friends and family
