We met in high school, but it was during our junior year that we truly got to know each other. From the moment we shared our first date at Dunkin' Donuts, we both felt it was the beginning of something special.

We started the day with a lovely lunch at a waterfront restaurant in Occoquan with Kevin’s family. Afterward, Kevin, Kyle, Becky, and I headed to Burke Lake to “check out the Christmas decorations.” As we strolled along the path, Kyle and Becky quietly slipped away, leaving just the two of us by the water’s edge. That’s when Kevin got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him, proposing with my Nana's engagement ring. It was the most magical moment and the best day of my life.
