Fallingwater is a house designed in 1935 by renowned American architect Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959). Fallingwater is one of Wright’s most widely acclaimed works and best exemplifies his philosophy of organic architecture: the harmonious union of art and nature. You can also stay here for a night for a truly unique experience in the area!
Ohiopyle State Park is beautiful mountainous escape in the hills of Pennsylvania with so many things to enjoy. Kayaking, hiking, white water rafting, fishing, biking, zip lines, rock climbing, Cucumber Falls, and scenic overlooks are just a few highlights to be had in this beautiful space! Nature and love...our two favorite things!
The Laurel Caverns are a series of massive caves located within the Laurel Highlands, which is where our wedding is being held! These beautifully scenic caves are open for tours, with the easiest of tours taking place on a well maintained path with a tour guide in tow. You will not only see a series of beautiful caves, but also a man-made waterfall, The Hall of The Mountain King, a light show, and more! For the adventurous type like yourself, you can go on a multi-hour tour deep into the furthest reaches of the cave where you have to squeeze, crawl, and get in the dirt to pass through. I say go for it!! But don't be late for the wedding ;)
