This is the only hotel that we can personally vouch for (we've stayed here before), but FYI, it appears that its prices for our wedding weekend are higher than normal (likely a nearby event). If you don't mind a splurge, it's a great option. Other fun splurges would be hotels downtown (Charleston Place, Hotel Bennett, the Dewberry). Otherwise, keep reading for less pricey suggestions in great locations!

This option is further out than the ones listed above (but has significantly better rates for that reason). It's close to the church but about a 20-minute drive from the reception venue. If you plan to Uber/Lyft, you should not have any trouble getting one to this location.

Travel Note

rental properties

For AirBnB or VRBO, properties Downtown or in the Avondale neighborhood of West Ashley will be most convenient. Properties on James Island and/or in Mount Pleasant are further (~20min give or take from the venues), but there are good options in both. If you wish to stay at the beach, Folly Beach would be closest (~30 min from the ceremony venue).
