We’re getting married!

We met in the Kinda Funny Facebook group! Mike was supposed to come to a New York Comic Con meetup that Kelsey had planned, but couldn't make it. Over a year later we reconnected in the group after Mike wrote a song about Mario Kart talking trash to one of the KF hosts. Kelsey reached out, and the rest is history.

If you want the first time we met in person, it was 5/6/2017 at a Kinda Funny NYC meetup to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Kelsey had to trade seats with someone to sit next to Mike. If you want our first date, Mike took Kelsey to a San Francisco vs Mets game on 5/9/2017 with amazing seats behind the Giants' dugout. On 5/13/2017 Mike officially asked Kelsey to be his girlfriend.

Kelsey proposed to Mike at Riot Fest in Chicago, the same festival we went to together 4 months after we started dating. We had just finished eating some of the best ice cream we've ever had (shoutout to Grumpy's Ice Cream from Wisconsin) and Taking Back Sunday was about to go on.
