FAQs

Question

How Do I RSVP? When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and type the name(s) listed on your envelope. Kindly RSVP by April 7th, 2025. If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you to still let us know at the soonest opportunity. Any RSVPs received after this date will be marked as a "no" as we will be sending final headcounts to vendors after this deadline- you will be missed!

Question

Can I Bring a Plus One?

Answer

Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your envelope. When you go to RSVP, you will be able to see the exact number of people you can RSVP for. We want to keep our wedding intimate with our closest family and friends.

Question

Are Children Allowed at this Celebration?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is Cocktail Attire (semi-formal). We kindly request our guests dress in rust, copper, golds or browns. Family members, please wear shades of greens. Men should wear a suit, a dress shirt and dress pants, or a sport coat with dress pants, and women should wear a cocktail dress, a dressy skirt and a blouse, or a dressy pantsuit. We kindly ask that you refrain from wearing white, off-white, cream, and ivory. Also, please no jeans, t-shirts, or casual wear. We can't wait to see everyone looking their best! If you are unsure what to wear, please check out our Pinterest board for inspiration (https://pin.it/3yvDtowDc ).

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception be?

Answer

The ceremony and reception both are taking place at Brick and Ivey. We will be indoors for ceremony, cocktail hour, as well as reception so you do not have to worry about Georgia summer heat.

Question

How does seating work?

Answer

For the ceremony, we are requesting you avoid the first 3 rows on each side which is reserved for our immediate family. For the reception, please refer to the seating chart that will be on site. For the reception, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are sat with those they know.

Question

What if I am late to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 PM. Please arrive between 3:30-3:50 PM so there is time to mingle and find your seat. Arriving after 4:00pm, you will unfortunately miss the ceremony.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is complimentary guest parking.

Question

Will there be alcohol and what should I do about driving?

Answer

Yes, we will be providing alcoholic beverages; however, we DO NOT want anyone drinking and driving. The venue agrees and allows guests to leave their vehicles overnight if need be. They MUST be picked up the next morning before 12:00PM (noon). We recommend using rideshare apps( Lyft, Uber) for transportation if you plan on drinking! Otherwise please know who your DD is ahead of time.

Question

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, it is all one level.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, if you go to the travel page, we have two hotel blocks that are within 12 minutes of the venue. Additionally, there are many hotels and Airbnbs surrounding Marietta including close by the Battery Atlanta.

Question

Answer

The hashtag is #TDtoMerriweather.
