Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Katie Stone-Warner and Tom Warner
Here are some of our favorite hang outs, plus a selection of places that everyone should try when they come to Portland!
Multnomah Falls

Multnomah Falls

OR 97014

This is a gorgeous waterfall, super famous and quite close to the venue! There is a long hike option for those who are feeling antsy (beware the switchbacks) and a shorter hike option for those who just want to soak in the splendor.

McMenamins Edgefield

McMenamins Edgefield

2126 Southwest Halsey Street, Troutdale, OR 97060
, (503) 669-8610

Several restaurants and bars, golfing, a soaking pool, and a spa!

Powell's City of Books

Powell's City of Books

1005 West Burnside Street, Portland, OR 97209
, (800) 878-7323

The biggest independent bookstore in the country! A must visit if you are in Portland for the first time!

Bread and Ink Cafe

Bread and Ink Cafe

3610 Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard, Portland, OR 97214
, (503) 239-4756

One of our favorite restaurants! We often go for birthdays and special occasions.

Voodoo Doughnut

Voodoo Doughnut

22 Southwest 3rd Avenue, Portland, OR 97204
, (503) 241-4704

This place is a Portland Icon, much like Powells. Very common to see people walking through the airport with the iconic pink boxes taking some doughnuts home with them!

Forest Park

Forest Park

Portland, OR 97231
, (503) 823-4492

One of the largest urban parks in the nation, Forest Park has miles and miles of trails to explore, that range from easy to very challenging! The park is densely wooded enough that it is easy to forget that you are in a major city! One of our favorite places to hike.

OMSI

OMSI

1945 Southeast Water Avenue, Portland, OR 97214
, (503) 797-4000

Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, and a super fun place for all ages! They often have interesting and informative exhibits, and there is a huge interactive area for kiddos to play and learn!

Montavilla

Montavilla

Portland, OR

Just down the road from our first apartment, this the little neighborhood is full of hidden gems! The Bipartisan Cafe is one of our favorite coffee shops, highly recommend their in house pies. It's right across the street from an excellent 2nd run movie theater, The Academy, and right next door to an excellent bar, Vintage, which serves delicious handcrafted cocktails. If you've got a little time and extra money, check out the adorable store next to Vintage, The Union Rose. It features lots of fun locally made items, and many of the clothes are made by the owner herself!

Salt & Straw

Salt & Straw

838 Northwest 23rd Avenue, Portland, OR 97210
, (971) 271-8168

This is another Portland original, although you can now find locations all up and down the West Coast! Their artisanal ice cream is a must try.
