The ceremony and reception will be held indoors with air conditioning, but there may be outdoor photo opportunities or mingling areas.

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be indoors at The Gala 417, but depending on the weather, there may be outdoor patios, photo spots, or cocktail hour spaces. Prepare for a warm summer evening — sunglasses, fans, and staying hydrated are always a good idea!

5. What should I wear?

Answer

We are asking all of our guests to follow a Formal Glam Attire dress code. Think black tie meets modern elegance — gowns, formal dresses, suits, tuxedos, and glamorous accessories. Ladies — breathable fabrics like satin, chiffon, or lightweight materials are encouraged. Gentlemen — classic tuxedos or sleek suits are perfect. PLEASE NO JEANS, CASUAL ATTIRE, OR EVERYDAY WEAR! DO NOT WEAR WHITE, PLEASE! Final Tip: Dress up, show out, and come ready to celebrate! We can’t wait to see you shine with us!

6. What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

We love a glamorous moment — but we also want you to be comfortable! Ladies — Heels are welcome (of course!) but feel free to bring a pair of flats or sandals for later in the evening — especially for dancing. Gentlemen — Dress shoes or polished loafers are recommended. While our ceremony and reception are indoors, there may be some outdoor areas for photos or cocktail hour — so we recommend wearing shoes that can handle walking comfortably.

8. Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Absolutely! You are welcome to bring a plus one. When it’s time to RSVP (best before you fill it out), please be sure to let Eboni' and/or Kenny know so that your plus one can be added to your RSVP and we can ensure they’re fully accounted for in our final guest list and accommodations. Properly listing all attendees helps us create an organized and personalized experience for everyone joining us.

9. Are children allowed?

Yes, children are welcome! We ask that they are supervised at all times and RSVP'd so we can plan accordingly. Or, if you prefer, feel free to take the night off and enjoy a kid-free evening—it’s entirely up to you! Just be sure to let Eboni' and Kenny know if they’ll be joining.

The closest airport is Norfolk International Airport (ORF) — about 25-30 minutes from the venue and recommended hotels.

We kindly ask that all guests remain unplugged during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. Our photographer and videographer will capture every moment.
