FAQs

Question

What happens if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as "no." We will miss celebrating with you but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outdoors, followed by an indoor cocktail hour and reception. We encourage guests to dress in cocktail attire that strikes a balance between elegance, comfortable, fancy, and pared-back. We kindly ask that you avoid wearing shades of blue, as the wedding party will be in blue. In addition, please refrain from wearing white, cream, ivory, off-white, or any prints with a white or cream base.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have reserved a room block at The Inn at Harbor Shores. Please refer to the Travel section on our website.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the official ceremony starts at 5:30 p.m. so you can settle before the proceedings. The doors will open at 5:00 p.m.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guest formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one they will appear when you RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults, with the exception of those in the bridal party.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, while the cocktail hour and and reception will occur indoors.

Question

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

When you RSVP please note your restrictions so we can accommodate you.

Question

Are we allowed to take photos & videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means that we ask that all phones, cameras, & devices are put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. We have hired professionals to capture this moment, and we would hate to have a phone/device blocking this moment for our professionals to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want!

Question

Can I wear white or cream to the wedding?

Answer

No.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Complimentary general parking will be available at the wedding location.
