We're Getting Married!!

LaToya and Allen met when LaToya started a new job in downtown Charlotte working at the same building as Allen. Multiple times LaToya has caught Allen staring and whispering to his coworkers when she would walk by (but not in a creepy way lol). Every day.. for months.. Allen would smile and speak to LaToya, but never asked for her number. LaToya’s coworker at the time said, "why not give him your number"? But being who she is, she thought it was being too forward by approaching him first. After thinking it over for a while, LaToya wrote her number down on a small piece of paper that said, “I don’t know why you haven’t asked me for my number yet but here it is”. October 2017, they talked on the phone every day and Allen asked her multiple times to be his girlfriend. LaToya continued to turn him down due to a lot of differences and uncertainty of a prosperous relationship. However, Allen never gave up. He knew in his heart LaToya was THEE ONE from the beginning. After talking to Allen on the phone every day and night LaToya really begin to learn more about him and how many things they really had in common, she also saw how persistent he was and continued to fight for her love. On March 20,2018 LaToya finally told Allen she would be his girlfriend. May 9, 2018, LaToya and Allen went on their first date. December 16, 2023, Allen asked LaToya to marry her and obviously she said “YES” to his proposal. They are excited to share their love with you all on their wedding day and continue this love story by beginning a new journey of marriage.
