The Honor of Your Presence is Requested

We met in a photography class during our senior year of high school. It wasn't long until we became fast friends. Being around each other felt like reading a book you never wanted to put down. With each page, there was something new and exciting. It just never stopped getting good. The more time we spent with one another and the more we got to know one another, the more we knew we wanted each other in our lives. After high school, Taj moved to Chicago and I stayed in Iowa. Though there were 384 miles and six hours between us, our feelings remained. After the very first visit to Chicago, I asked Taj to be my girlfriend. Things have gone pretty well since then since you are reading this on our wedding website. :)

On Christmas morning of 2019, Liam woke me up before the sun. We got donuts at a small local bakery before he drove us to the beachside of our local forest reserve to watch the sunrise. Once the sun began to peek over the horizon of the water, he told me he wanted to take a picture of me facing the sun and that I should turn around and pose. When I turned back around to face him, he was on one knee. I think we all know my response! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
