Things To Do

A few of our favorite places to eat, explore, and enjoy while you’re in town for the wedding. Shout out to Sean and Copilot for drafting these recs (along with the rest of our wedding website) 🗺️ Want more ideas? If you’d like help picking restaurants, shows, or neighborhoods to explore, we’re happy to share more NYC recommendations.

🍽️ Food & Restaurants

L’Artusi — Tahnee’s all‑time favorite Italian spot. Perfect pasta, perfect vibes. Torrisi — Another Italian favorite with incredible dishes and a great atmosphere. Russ & Daughters — The best bagel experience in NYC. Truly iconic. Minetta Tavern — Home of the legendary (and yes, pricey) Black Label Burger. Worth it. Emily — Another amazing burger option. Crispy, melty, perfect. Bleecker Street Pizza — A classic NYC slice. Simple, delicious, always hits the spot. Talea – Cobble Hill — A bright, fun brewery with great beers and an easygoing vibe. Perfect for an afternoon hang. 63 Clinton — One of our favorite fine‑dining experiences. Creative, intimate, memorable. Le Jardinier — Another fine‑dining favorite with beautiful dishes and a stunning space.

🎭 Shows, Museums & Entertainment

Comedy Cellar — The best stand‑up in the city. Book ahead — it always sells out. Broadway — You can’t go wrong. We loved Lost Boys and Buena Vista Social Club recently. The Metropolitan Museum of Art — One of the world’s great museums. You can spend an hour or a whole day wandering through art, history, and iconic exhibits. American Museum of Natural History — A classic NYC museum experience. Don’t miss the whale — it’s as magical and massive as everyone says.

🏙️ Neighborhoods We Love

Upper East Side — Where Tahnee first moved to NYC. Classic brownstones, leafy streets, museums, and that quintessential “old New York” charm. Perfect for a slow morning stroll or a cozy café stop. West Village — Storybook streets, tiny restaurants, and the kind of neighborhood that makes you fall in love with the city. Great for wandering, window‑shopping, and people‑watching. Cobble Hill — Charming, calm, and full of brownstones and cute shops. A perfect neighborhood for a slow wander and a coffee stop. Park Slope — Leafy streets, families everywhere, and right next to Prospect Park. Great for a relaxed afternoon stroll.

🏃‍♂️ Outdoor Activities

West Side Highway Run — One of the best running paths in the city. Gorgeous water views, breezy paths, and plenty of space to stretch your legs along the Hudson. Central Park — The city’s backyard. Perfect for long walks, picnics, people‑watching, or just getting lost among the trees and winding paths.
