Question

When and where is the wedding? When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel in downtown Chicago. Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held on site — no need to travel between venues!

Question

What’s the dress code? What’s the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire — think old-Hollywood elegance with a modern Chicago twist. Floor-length gowns, chic cocktail dresses, or sharp suits are all welcome. Our wedding will have an Art Deco flair, so if you’d like to lean into a little extra glam, we fully support it!

Question

Are kids invited?Are kids invited?

Answer

We adore your kiddos, but for everyone’s sanity (including ours), only family children will be part of the celebration. They’ll be the ones twirling on the dance floor, sneaking extra cake, and maybe even stealing the spotlight.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Check your invite — if your plus one made the cut, they’ll be listed there. If not, but you think we slipped up, let us know. We want to make sure the right people are on the dance floor with us!

Question

What if I can't attend?What if I can't attend?

Answer

We’ll miss you on the dance floor! Please RSVP “no” so we don’t save you a seat (or a slice of cake).

Question

What time should I arrive? What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time to check in, find your seat, and settle in.

Question

Is there parking available at the venue? Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes. Valet parking is available at the Chicago Athletic Association. Self-park garages nearby include Grant Park North Garage and Millennium Lakeside Garage.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony? Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests put their phones away during the ceremony and be fully present. Our photographer will capture every moment beautifully — we promise to share the photos afterward!

Question

What should I expect at the reception? What should I expect at the reception?

Answer

Think supper-club ambiance meets Art Deco elegance — dinner, cocktails, and dancing late into the night. There may even be a few surprises!

Question

What’s the bar situation? What’s the bar situation?

Answer

Open bar, of course! We’ll have custom cocktails crafted just for the night, plenty of great beer (Corey wouldn’t have it any other way), and wine. For those skipping alcohol, don’t worry — there will be plenty of fun and delicious NA options too. In short: come thirsty.

Question

Can I make a song request?Can I make a song request?

Answer

We won’t be collecting requests ahead of time, but if inspiration strikes, stop by the DJ booth! You’ll be able to text them your request and (fingers crossed) hear it on the dance floor. Just remember: no promises if your pick is the Chicken Dance.

Question

Do you have a registry?Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence is truly the best gift — but if you’d like to help us upgrade from takeout containers to real dishes (and maybe fund a few adventures). Visit the Registry tab of our website or check out our registries at Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, or Etsy (also linked on Registry Page).

Question

How do I get there? How do I get there?

Answer

Chicago is served by two major airports: ✈️ O’Hare International Airport (ORD) — ~45 minutes to downtown ✈️ Midway International Airport (MDW) — ~30 minutes to downtown Both airports have rideshare pickup zones, taxis, and convenient rental car options including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, and National.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Not necessarily! Chicago is very walkable, and the Chicago Athletic Association is centrally located near Millennium Park and public transit. Rideshares (Uber, Lyft) and taxis are easy to find.

Question

Where should I stay?Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve reserved a room block at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel, right where the festivities will take place. Staying onsite means you’re just an elevator ride away from the celebration (and the after-party). Additional nearby hotels will also be listed on our Travel page for your convenience.

Question

Will transportation be provided between hotels and the venue? Will transportation be provided between hotels and the venue?

Answer

No additional shuttles are needed. Both of our hotel blocks (Chicago Athletic Association and Silversmith Hotel) are within walking distance of the venue, and ride-shares or taxis are plentiful downtown.

Question
