Some of our favorite places at Disney Springs are Salt & Straw ice cream shop and Erin McKenna's Bakery. Parking at Disney Springs is free. Disney Springs is one of our top recommendation! We love walking around and grabbing a bite to eat.

Located inside Universal’s City Walk, an entertainment and dining complex located between the two theme parks, Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure. Voodoo Doughnut is a popular and quirky doughnut shop known for its unique and creative doughnut flavors and its distinctive, often playful, branding. Originating in Portland, Oregon, it has gained a large following for its unconventional creations and vibrant pink boxes Voodoo Doughnut. The cost of parking at City Walk is $32 per vehicle, but parking is free after 6:00 pm.

New Smyrna Beach

If you’re looking to visit the beach, but don’t want to travel too far outside of Orlando, our recommendation would be New Smyrna Beach. Located on the Atlantic side of Florida, New Smyrna Beach is primarily known for its 17-mile stretch of white sand beaches and is approximately a 1-hour drive from Orlando.

If you’re looking for a beach experience but don’t mind traveling a little further, we would recommend Siesta Key Beach. Located in Sarasota Florida, Siesta Key Beach is home to powdery soft, cool-to-the-touch quartz sand and it is consistently ranked among the top beaches globally, thanks to its pristine beauty and crystal-clear waters. It is approximately a 2-hour and 15 minute drive from Orlando.

Blue Spring State Park

Located about 1 hour North of Orlando, Blue Spring is one of Taffy’s favorite hidden gems. During the winter months this spring is known for its large manatee population. The cost of parking is $6 per vehicle.
