How do I book a room at the resort?

Answer

The Bride & Groom have blocked rooms at the resort with a special group rate. You will need to contact the Bride or the Groom to let them know how many people in the room and how many days you plan on staying and they will book the room for you. Pricing explained below.

How do I pay for my booked room?

Answer

If you are staying at the resort through the blocked rooms the payment would be made to the Bride. You can send a check payable to Taelour Murphy or you can Venmo Taelour. Please contact the Bride or Groom to let them know you are booking a blocked room before sending money.

How much does the resort cost?

Answer

The resort has provided a discounted daily rate for Taelour & Andrew's Wedding. The rate varies depending on how many guest stay per room. The daily rate includes room, food, and drinks for those in the room as this is an all inclusive resort. The daily rates are: Single- $172.80 (1 Adult) Double- $238.34 (2 Adults) Triple- $339.63 (3 Adults) So pending on how many people are in your room and how many days you plan on staying you would multiple the two. Example: 2 Adults would require a double occupancy so..... $238.34 X 3 Nights = $715.02

When is the latest I can book a room through the Bride & Groom?

Answer

Payments for the blocked rooms are due no later than by April 20th, after this date you will need to book a room through the resort website.

Is there a wedding RSVP?

Answer

If you book a room through the Bride and Groom it will act as your RSVP. If you do not book a room through the Bride and Groom then you will need to RSVP by May 1st, 2019.

What if I choose not to or are unable to book through the Bride & Groom?

Answer

Not a problem, if you go to the travel tab on the Bride & Groom's website the link to the resort is right there and you can simple book online through their website. The rooms would be booked to Hotel Riu Montego Bay 5.

What is the recommend stay at the hotel?

Answer

To enjoy all of the wedding festivities we recommend for people to stay from August 22 to the 25 (3 nights). However, you are more than welcome arrive earlier or later to best fit your budget and schedule.

Can I stay longer than the recommended stay?

Answer

Yes! When you book a room with Bride & Groom let them know the date you will be arriving to the resort and the date you will be departing the resort.

What am I to do about flights?

Answer

You will need to book for your flight individually. Sadly, the resort does not offer a package deal with flights nor have we had success in finding a cheaper group rate for flights. To our knowledge flight tickets will vary between about $450 to $550 over the next few months leading up to the wedding. If a deal arises we will try our best to notify all attending the wedding.

Where do I fly into and how do I get to the resort?

Answer

There are flights right into Montego Bay! The airport to fly into is the Sangster International (MBJ). It is about a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport to the resort.
