They met in college, technically their freshmen year according to Andrew. However, Taelour did not notice Andrew until their Junior year. I mean c'mon, good things come to those who wait... it just took two years for Taelour to really notice him. During their Junior year in college at UMass Lowell around Christmas time, Andrew sent Taelour a fiend request on Facebook. Apparently its hard to spell 'Taelour' which is what really took the two years of waiting to be introduced. After Taelour accepted that friend request a few messages back and forth and everything else is history and they will have been together for 5 years as of January 2019.

Long story short, Andrew and Taelour were on a weeklong cruise when Andrew popped the big question. For those who like more details just keep reading it gets better. Halfway through the trip, they had spent the day in Mexico and little did Taelour know that for months Andrew had been planning to propose that very night. When they got back on the ship after a day of sun (and lots of drinking) they were in the room getting ready for dinner when the phone rings. Andrew answers the phone and tells Taelour they won a prize that would be given to them later. During dinner, Andrew tells Taelour he really wants to attend the Newlywed/Marriage game show that was being hosted later that night, Taelour passively agreed. After Dinner they head back to the room and Taelour begged to take a quick nap before the show. For those who don't know Taelour, she isn't the easiest to get out of bed, but Andrew went along with the nap as to not cause any suspicion. When it was time to wake Taelour, let's just say she was not at all that accommodating and thought about skipping the show. However, Andrew persisted and managed to sway the drowsy Taelour. They arrived at the theater hall, which turned out to have a full crowd and enjoyed the show. About half way through the show, the host announces that he has a prize to give out to someone in the audience. He surprisingly announces "Andrew Jefferson", to which Taelour's first words were "Sweet! We won money to pay for all the booze!". Both Andrew and Taelour went up on stage to accept the prize. While both were on stage, Andrew got down on one knee, the crowd goes in complete hysteria, and he asked, "Will you marry me Taelour" to which her response was "Holy s#$t" about five or six times before she said "Yes!" Told you it was a good one!
