Travel

We will be in South Korea from the 3rd September until the 18th September 2022. We really appreciate you all travelling out to Korea and have included some useful information below on how to travel around!

Flight

Direct Flights

- British Airways (currently suspended their route to Seoul but if you're flying via Japan a good option to look at) - Korean Air - Asiana Airlines The airport most used is Incheon International Airport

Flight

Indirect Flights

There are lots of options, including: - KLM - Lufthansa - LOT - Finnair (Just checkout Skyscanner for the best option)

Hotel

Hotel Areas

Prices can vary massively depending on where you stay. Areas in Seoul that we recommend are: - Gangnam (vibrant and modern) - Insadong (close to historic sites) - Myeongdong (best for shopping) - Itaewon (vibrant nightlife) - Hongdae (the cool part of town)

House Or Rental

Airbnb

Airbnbs do exist in Korea but never used it ourselves so can't provide advice on this!

Travel Note

Metro

Metro is the cheapest and easiest way to travel around in Seoul, and you can get to most places this way

Travel Note

Buses

Buses are the cheapest way to travel from Seoul to other cities in Korea, with most buses leaving from Nambu Bus terminal or Seoul Express Bus Terminal.

Train

Trains

Trains are the quickest form of transport and reasonably priced. KTX is the fast train which is more expensive but the most time efficient.

Rental Car

Renting a car

Wouldn't recommend hiring a car in Seoul - unless you are a very confident driver!
