The dress code is very similar to formal UK weddings - just leave the hats at home!
The ceremony starts promptly at 12pm, so we'd suggest you arrive for 11.30-11.45am.
Of course. We would love you all to be at the ceremony, but no worries if you cannot make the engagement party or stag/hen!
Yes! After the ceremony will be traditional Korean food for everyone. At the evening boat party there will be canapés and drinks.
Korean weddings are quick! We expect the whole ceremony plus reception to last ~2 hours max. You'll probably find you have some free time in between the ceremony and the evening boat party to change (or have a nap)
Please do not bring us a gift, your presence is more than enough!
Please let us know if you do, as we don't currently have any details on the food menu. We expect it'll be traditional Korean food.
Average day temperature in the low 20s, but gets chillier in the evenings in the low 10s so bring a coat
Nope, unless you plan for staying over 90 days!
From our experience you will be able to get around using English just fine, as most tourist destinations, metro stations and info points are written in English as well as Korean. In case of emergency, just text Tae!
How much you pay in Korea will vary hugely on where you stay/eat/visit - varying from absolute bargains to more expensive than in the UK. On average prices are slightly cheaper than the UK though.
We will likely be staying with Tae's parents outside of Seoul, so its best to stay more central in any area wish (have a look at the travel tab for our tips)
