The closest international airport to Sayulita is in Puerto Vallarta (PVR). You will need a passport to travel internationally. Don't forget to ensure your passport is valid for at least six months after your return travel date. Google Flights is a great resource.

Getting to Sayulita from the airport
We recommend pre-arranging a car service from PVR to Sayulita through your hotel, airbnb or sayulitalife.com. This is the easiest and fastest way to get to Sayulita. Sayulita is roughly a 45 minute drive from the airport. Round trip cost is ~$140 per car and will be Suburbans that can comfortably fit up to 7 people. The drivers will make a stop at a grocery store on the way to Sayulita if you would like stock up on anything – they’ll also have a cold cerveza waiting for you!

Getting Around Sayulita
Once you're in Sayulita, you will not need a car. It's an extremely walkable town, but renting a golf cart is a great way to get around and explore the area!

Because Sayulita doesn’t have any major resorts you will have to travel south towards Puerto Vallarta for luxury resort options. Punta Mita (25-30 min south of Sayulita) offers a range of luxury hotel options including the Four Seasons, St. Regis, W Hotel, etc. It is possible to arrange for a driver or get a cab for any event if you would prefer to stay at one of these resorts/hotels.
