When should I book my flight?

Answer

You can book it as early as now. But we recommend booking at least 3 months before going to the Philippines since that’s when you’ll find the cheapest prices.

When should I get there?

We recommend arriving to Boracay at least on Thursday the 24th or Friday the 25th of April. That way you can join us at the welcome party! But you can always arrive earlier that week if you want to enjoy the island before our wedding.

Should I book my flights together?

Answer

You could definitely book your flights together from your home to Boracay but it will probably be more expensive. We suggest booking your flight to Manila or Cebu and then book a separate flight from there to Boracay. Just give yourself at least 3 hours in between flights.

How long should I go for?

Answer

We recommend going for 2 weeks. The Philippines is extremely beautiful and there’s just so much to do! Not only that but most of us will travel for 2 days to get there so make it worth it and explore some other islands!

What’s the money like?

Answer

Philippines uses Pesos as their currency. You can usually use an international card for many purchases but make sure to bring some cash! Cash is king after all. You can easily exchange your Dollars or Zlote to Philippine Pesos on the island at a currency exchange or even at the airport as soon as you land in the country.

The weather will be beautiful and hot! April is summertime in the Philippines so expect the temperature to be over 90°F or 32° C.

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest”, then yes! If not, please understand that we want our wedding to only be filled with the important people in our lives.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

There will be a wedding color scheme that we will be deciding soon but everyone is encouraged to wear a long dress for women and a semi-formal attire for men. April could be very warm in the Philippines so we advise that you’ll choose a weather-friendly fabric for your attire. Outfit inspirations will be updated on this website sometime soon!

Are kids invited?

Yes! We’d love to see your little ones! We also want you to enjoy the celebrations so if you are thinking of getting a babysitter, it is possible for a few hours at least and we will be glad to ask Crimson Hotel if they can source out a reliable one.
