Colorado is filled with world-class hiking! Here are some hikes and trailheads for all ability levels: Boulder Falls (easy, .1 miles) - A mostly level paved path takes you take a gorgeous waterfall! Rattlesnake Gulch (moderate, 3.6 miles) - One of the most historic areas in rock climbing, Eldorado Canyon also has excellent trails and views for non-climbers! Rattlesnake Gulch will reward you with great views of historic buildings and Eldo's colorful walls, along with an opportunity to disappear into nature for a couple hours. Chatauqua Trailhead - Gateway to Boulder's beautiful flatirons. Check out the First and Second Flatiron Loop (challenging, 2.7 miles) or the Royal Arch Trail (moderate-challenging, 3.4 miles) for views of Boulder's most stunning natural space in an ideal setting. Bring snacks and water, especially if you are coming from out of town - the length does not define the challenge of these outings!
Colorado has a reputation for exceptional craft beer. We'll provide some suggestions of some of Boulder's best breweries to sample.
If you'd like to extend your stay, we highly recommend taking a visit to Rocky Mountain National Park, driving up Mount Blue Sky (formerly Mount Evans), exploring the high desert of the San Luis Valley, and perhaps even making a few turns depending on when the first snow falls in the mountains.
