Train

Los Angeles Metro

Despite Los Angeles' car-crazed reputation, we do have a fairly extensive system that could get you to most places within the county. With that in mind, our hotel selections below provide easy access to the Metro rail system for out-of-town guests to move around Los Angeles County. If guests are looking to save money, travelling via LA Metro is a recommended option. A single fare is $1.75 with free 2 hour transfers. Never pay more than $5 a day and never more than $18 within seven days. You can choose to either buy a TAP card on the many vending machines at Metro rail stations, or you can simply download the TAP app and have it on your phone as Apple or Android Pay. We recommend using the Transit app to navigate around Los Angeles. It provides live tracking, estimated timed arrivals, and trip planning.
