Flight

Athens International Airport (AIA)

Rhodes is easiest to reach by flying through Athens (ATH). Step 1: Fly from the U.S. to Athens (ATH) Most U.S. → Athens routes will include a layover in a major European hub (common connections include Frankfurt, Zurich, Paris, London, Amsterdam, etc.). Sometimes booking your long-haul flight into Europe first, then adding a separate flight to Athens can be more cost-effective, so it’s worth checking both options. Step 2: Athens (ATH) → Rhodes (RHO) From Athens, it’s a quick ~1 hour flight to Rhodes. There are typically multiple flights per day from ATH to RHO, so it’s usually an easy connection. Tip: When searching flights, try comparing: U.S. → ATH → RHO (all on one itinerary) vs. U.S. → major European city → ATH, then ATH → RHO (sometimes cheaper)

Other Accommodation Recommendations

A quick note on accommodations: group discount codes generally aren’t a thing in Greece (sorry! 🤍), but there are lots of great options at different price points nearby. Hotel suggestions: - Esperia Group: When you copy & paste the link below, it will take you to a page with several Esperia Hotels to choose from. All located in Faliraki. You can browse availability, pricing, and pick what works best for your budget. (https://esperiagroup.reserve-online.net/?nights=3&checkin=2026-07-21&rooms=1&adults=2&bkcode=SmnPntWD0726&currency=USD) - Mitsis Faliraki: Another great full-service resort option in the area. (https://www.mitsis.com/en/hotels/faliraki-beach) - Helea Lifestyle Beach Resort: Another great full-service resort option in Kallithea area. - Orion Hotel: A more budget-friendly choice that’s still conveniently located. (https://www.orion-hotel.com) - Tsambiko Apartments: Another budget-friendly option. A few other families are already staying here, as well. (https://tsambikosapts.eu) - Airbnb is also a great option if you prefer a villa or apartment-style stay.

House Or Rental

Under The Sun Villa | Reflections Cave Villa

For the week of the wedding, the Caballes family will be staying at Under the Sun Villa / Reflections Cave Villa (two connecting spaces). We just wanted to share this location for reference. Rental Car

Rental Car Options

The easiest and fastest way to get around the island is to rent a car. You can also choose to rent a motorcycle/vespa but Rhodes is quite large so a car is your best bet. If you would prefer not to rent a car, there are taxis a well. Options: 1. Drive Rhodes (https://www.driverentacar.gr/rent-a-car-in-rhodes-driverentacar-fleet/) 2. Marathon Rent a Car (https://www.marathonrentacar.gr/) 3. Esperides Rentals (https://www.esperidesrentals.gr/) 4. Rodos Cars (https://www.rodoscars.gr/)
